About Me

I’m Rebecca Parker Stansfield

After more than 26 years as a labor and delivery nurse, I’ve begun a new chapter rooted in creativity, connection, and clay. With the help and encouragement of my loving husband and daughter, I started Parker Stansfield Pottery a space where hands, heart, and earth come together to create pieces meant to be used and loved.

There’s something deeply meditative about working with clay the way it responds to pressure, movement, and intention. From the moment I wedge a lump of clay to the final glaze firing, the process is both grounding and humbling. Each form begins as a simple shape and evolves through touch, repetition, and experimentation. I’m drawn to making functional pieces mugs, bowls, and vessels for everyday life that invite people to slow down and connect with the present moment.

No two pieces are exactly alike, and I love that. The imperfections, textures, and glazes tell a story of process and presence. Pottery has become a way for me to continue nurturing life in a different way through objects that bring beauty, comfort, and meaning into the home.
